Petit Verdot from the Sensi line. is a deep red wine produced in the limestone-clay soils of San Michele di Ganzaria, 450 meters above sea level. This grape variety, grown using the spurred cordon system, expresses the essence of Sicily through its intense aromas of nutmeg, spices, floral notes, berries, smoky and vegetal nuances. After careful vinification and aging in Slavonian oak barrels, it offers a soft and warm palate, enriched by harmonious tannins and a long lingering spicy finish. Perfect with rich dishes such as rolled meat and aged cheeses, this wine embodies the balance between tradition and innovation.

Grapes, God’s Good: A Ritual of Colors and Sensations

Between play and tradition:
the grape harvest in the works of Incorpora

Salvatore Incorpora’s work “Grapes, God’s Well” masterfully captures the festive essence of the traditional grape harvest, an event that is transformed into a playful ritual for the younger generation. Through this vibrant scene, Incorpora portrays barefoot children immersed in vats, crushing grapes with an enthusiasm that transforms the work into a celebration of life. The arms outstretched toward the sky and the legs wrapped in bunches of grapes represent an intimate embrace of nature, emphasizing the union between the human and the divine. Each sip of Petit Verdot ‘Sensi’ becomes a tribute to these deep roots, evoking a mosaic of smells, colors and flavors that only Sicily can offer.
