This document describes the categories of cookies we use, their purpose, and how to change your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are files or segments of information that may be stored on your computer (or other devices with an internet connection, such as smartphones or tablets) when you visit our site. Usually a cookie contains the name of the website it came from, the “duration” of the cookie (i.e., how long it remains on the device), and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number.

Three types of cookies are used, “technical cookies,” “profiling cookies,” and “third-party cookies.”

TECHNICAL COOKIES.

Technical cookies may be used to enable users to take advantage of services requested through our website. Without these cookies, it would not be possible to provide the requested services.

PROFILING COOKIES

Analytical cookies may be used to obtain information about the use of the poltrone-italia.com website, advertisements and e-mails and to alert us to errors. In addition, these cookies allow us to obtain detailed technical information, such as the last page visited, the number of pages visited, whether an e-mail was opened, what parts of the website or e-mails are clicked on by users, and the time elapsed between clicks. This information might be associated with user details such as IP address, domain, or browser; however, it is analyzed together with information from other people so that it does not identify one particular user over another.

For example, these cookies might be used on our website to:

Analyze and improve the performance and design of our website, advertisements, and emails

Quantifying the response to our advertisements and improving their effectiveness

Calculate errors occurring on our website to improve service and handle any complaints

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

We use some vendors who may place cookies on your device on our behalf during your visit to the website. The purpose is to enable them to propose the services they offer.

For example, third-party cookies could originate from:

– Google
– Facebook
– Add This

For more information on the use of cookies by third parties, see the privacy and cookie policy of the services in question.

HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES ON YOUR PC

If you do not consent to the use of cookies as outlined here, you must set your browser accordingly. You can always change your choice by changing your browser settings in the future.
