TORREPALINO was a historic winery that it born 1971 where, currently is located in Solicchiata, a small town in Castiglione of Sicily, the northen side of Etna at about 700 above sea level. The story of Torrepalino is connected with the Aragonese Watch Tower that rises up to defend the region. At the top of the construction there was a direction indicator called Palino that provided orientation for processions of travellers and wayfarers. On one side is the commercial port of Riposto, and on the other that of Milazzo. Both ports are leading players in Sicilian commercial wine industry transport and the movements of people and goods.
To honor the history of the cellar with its centenary vines, are born two types of wine, red and white.
Torrepalino Rosso, with ruby ​​red color instil with stongly the sensations of lava flows that have followed one another over the centuries and, thanks to its sapidity and acidity, recalls the minerality of the volcanic soil;
