Etna D.O.C. PATRIA Red is a wine that smells of Sicily, fascinating horizons that arouse emotions, soft woods and angular valleys where the red volcano, passionate and severe, gives this wine a natural diversity: full-bodied, harmonious, and spicy. Etna Rosso comes from the most famous vineyards of Etna: Nerello Mascalese old native red grape variety and Nerello Cappuccio. Vines are grown on the north eastern slopes of Etna between 700-800 meters above sea level and enjoy a unique climate than the rest of Sicily. The characteristic of the bottle, that represents this product is the depiction of a painting by Salvatore Incorpora, Sicilian painter and sculptor represents the rest of the berries, where the already cultivated grapes, waiting beside a pitcher, the time of the transformation from the must to wine.
Beside the image there are the Ballad’s spirit’s Verses of Sergio Mazza,Sicilian writer describe the colors and the landscapes, where the red fire of Etna is mixed with the blood of man in a mass of life and death. they fade into a nostalgic, languid landscape.
For solidarity and support of the blind, it has been, also added on the bottle the scripture braille.
